The book was interesting as it provided a lot of insight into Caster's childhood and the challenges she faced while running. The most noteworthy aspect of the book is the way the narrator tells the story. It was a pleasure to hear from such a skilled storyteller who could express her emotions so well. As I listened, I observed how some individuals could be both naive and determined, standing firm in their beliefs despite facing many obstacles. Castor's attitude bothered me because she appeared to be unwavering in her convictions, but it was a personality trait that ultimately helped her to evolve and mature. The epilogue at the end of the book was particularly powerful, and it demonstrated the true strength of her character.

Although I do not run track, I found this book very informative. What she has and still is going through is shameful and heartbreaking. My heart goes out to her.

The story is incredible. The narrator delivered a wonderful gritty story with grace. I reccomend listening. I was captivated by Castor Semenyas story.

Every woman and young girl needs to experience Caster’s story!! We all need a dose of Caster’s flat out refusal to compromise who she is as a woman!! She refused to acquiesce to anyone’s expectation of who they wanted her to be in favor of embracing her beauty, strength and all the attributes God bestowed on her. I believe God blessed us with people like Caster so he could easily identify who the true Christian’s are. Don’t fail his test!!! God created us all in his/her image!!

As a track And field enthusiast, I thought I knew the story. I was wrong, so very wrong. Hearing directly the events & situations that unfolded for this remarkable woman, was at times so extremely sad, and at times aspiring & uplifting. This was well worth the listen and I pray we all learn from her journey and experience.

Thank you for your story Caster. Although you are many years my junior, I will always look up to you. I've spent my life studying (and practicing) psychology and I agree with you when you say a psychologist would not be able to help you. You are already more psychologically healthy than the 10 most healthy people I know!
