Psychology of Trading deals with the psyche of traders and sheds light on the emotional aspects experienced by such individuals and how these emotions undermine these traders’ ability to achieve lasting trading results.

In many ways, trading resembles gambling as it follows a similar narrative. Like gamblers, traders are exposed to a roller coaster ride of human conditions that negatively impact their trading. Like gamblers, traders must learn to master these emotions completely and instead aim to become rational, logical, facts-based traders, void from any and all human emotions whilst they trade.

The Psychology of Trading Manual offers guidance and demonstrates how to trade in a rational, logical, clear thinking fashion, which is based solely on facts without the interference of human emotions.

as a trading community, we already face a lot of negative connotation when it comes to trading and people calling it gambling. this book heavily refers to trading as gambling and has marginal good ideas.

what I did enjoy about the book is that it uses feminine pronouns. "she" "her". I have a newborn daughter and it makes me proud that financial literacy books are using these pronouns more so than "he". it's a refreshing change to include woman who deserve their spot in this industry as well.
