Acerca de esta escucha
Well hey there, friend.
If you’re holding this book right now, I’m guessing one of three things is true:
You’re a Christian curious about nudism,
You’re a nudist curious about Christianity,
Or you’re just real nosy and stumbled into something interesting at the bookstore (bless your heart).
Whichever road brought you here, welcome. You’ve found a weird little path, but it’s one full of joy, freedom, and a whole lotta skin. Not the steamy kind, mind you — the sun-on-your-shoulders, breeze-between-your-toes, garden-of-Eden kind. The God-designed, Jesus-saved, Spirit-led kind of nudity.
I’m Justine Hudson. I love Jesus with everything I’ve got — heart, soul, mind, and yes, body. All of it. Uncovered. I’m also a full-time, full-on, unapologetic Christian nudist. Married to the love of my life, John, who’s just as committed to his faith and just as allergic to pants as I am.
Now before you clutch your pearls or cross yourself or start thumbing through Leviticus, let me say this:
This ain’t about sex. This is about freedom.
This is about stripping off the shame that got stitched into us somewhere between Sunday school and swimsuit season. This is about walking the walk — The Naked Walk — with our Savior, just as He made us, and learning how to do it with grace, modesty (yes, that’s possible), and unshakable faith.
I didn’t start out this way. I was raised in a pretty traditional church where modesty meant skirts below the knee and not letting the youth pastor see your collarbone. I loved Jesus early and often, and I loved the church, but there was always this whisper in me — a curiosity, a longing, a question I never had the courage to say out loud:
If God made our bodies… why are we so scared of them?
Years later, after a whole lot of Bible reading, soul searching, and skinny dipping with Jesus (figuratively, mostly), I found my answer. And it changed my life. It changed my marriage. And it changed how I saw myself — not as a body to hide, but as a temple to live in freely. Fully. Fearlessly.
Now listen, I know this book is a bit of a tightrope — or maybe a clothesline — between two worlds that don’t usually talk to each other. Christians and nudists have more in common than you’d think, but you’d never know it from the way both sides talk. My hope is to build a little bridge here. A barefoot one. And I’m inviting you to cross it with me.
This ain’t a theology textbook. This isn’t a nudist manifesto either. This is just me, telling my story. Sharing my walk. And giving you every bit of truth, Scripture, humor, and wisdom the Lord’s given me along the way.
We’re gonna talk about all of it — the Bible, the body, the beach, the bedroom, and the beautiful mess that is Christian life. All in the buff. Not to shock. Not to scandalize. But to set you free.
So take a deep breath. Kick off your shoes. Maybe even a little more than that, if you’re feeling brave.
And come walk with me.
The path may be narrow, but the sun sure feels good on your skin.
