What would have made The Information Age / Computer Networks better?
Mental masturbation and hype and as Barnum once said " one is born every second", count me in.
What could Jack Blacknet have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Read Robert Service or What Whitman or Marcus Aurelius, maybe Kant or Locke.
