Acerca de esta escucha

A young emperor’s life hangs in the balance in ancient Constantinople, and only the Brotherhood of Assassins can save him, in this action-packed historical adventure from the award-winning Assassin’s Creed universe

Constantinople, 867–A murderous plot is afoot. Assisted by the Order of the Ancients, the emperor schemes to assassinate his son and throw the city into chaos. In response, the Hidden Ones have dispatched Assassin acolyte Hytham to join his mentor, Basim Ibn Ishaq, to infiltrate the palace and foil the emperor’s plan. But that is not his only mission… Hytham’s brotherhood have entrusted him with uncovering where Basim’s true loyalties lie and whether the master Assassin’s personal obsessions outweigh his sense of duty. For Hytham to succeed, he must tread carefully, for Constantinople is a city of shadows, and danger hides in all of them.

An awesome addition to the lore of Assassin’s Creed and gives us more insight into the characters of Basim and Hytham and takes you on quite the tour through an earlier version of Constantinople and increases your desire to play the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Worth the wait and pre order

Must have if you're a fan of Valhalla and Mirage. Great job filling in the story of the Assasins to Valhalla. Nice to see how Hytham and Basim grow as Master and Apprentice.

Great story for Hytham and Basim!

A good hytham background novel and it is nice to hear Constantinople outside of Revelations, but assassins creed gold is a better audible story.

Worthwhile story

I’ve listen to about 7 or more Assassins Creed books and loved everyone, until this one. The title caught my interest, but I should have read a little more about the book before I bought it. The beginning was so annoying that I almost asked for a refund—I had many start and stops.
It got better after he met Leo and took pity on him. His fondness of the kid was touching. I fell asleep and woke up to learn he was rescued out of a cave or dungeon, I didn’t bother to go back to listen. Leo was getting trained, he should have done a better job of breaking away from the woman.
Compared to the first 3 original books of the Assassins Creed, this was a big dud. Seems to me, if one is going to tell an original story without jumping timelines, you need more creativity. There was no magic artifact or supernatural anything. I cried when Enzo passed away in the original books. Beyond the originals, I prefer the stories where they learn about the life of their ancestors and how it changes the protagonist. From now on, I won’t skip the preface.
The performance was really good. He distinguishes the characters so well, you forget it’s one guy reading it.

Hard to get through
