at first I was nott too sure about this book in the series, I really miss Walt being a ghost, but the storyline was real good, great plot. As always I love the narrator

Liked the evolution of characters, while adding a twist to a who done it & why.
Wasn’t sure I wanted a “Christmas book” & considered not purchasing it. This book was set around the Christmas season but didn’t go much further.
Liked the way the books are sequential but can be “read”as a stand alone.
Narrator brings characters to life, but at times I have to go back to tell who was speaking. Maybe it’s just me. Have read books, but thoroughly enjoy the narration.
Hope to “hear”more in this series.

This is a great series of stories. Each one has a great mystery! Unlike other long series of books the rhythms of the story is different in each book. Some have twists and connections I didn’t see coming. You have to pause reality because of the paranormal themes, but I really enjoy that!

Great series of books with characters that will become your friends!

Love all of this series

The story starts with an interesting beginning.
Then you hop into the world with Danielle, Walt and all our favorite people.
Jumping 7 months to December felt a little abrupt and it took awhile to ‘catch up’, so to speak.

The story flows quite nicely after that until we reach the end. There was a little twist when we jump in rewind as Danielle explains what had happened to Lily and Ian. Then we catch up all together for the final scene.

Kept me hopping as I connected all the dots.
In reflection I enjoyed finding the flow in this new direction Ms. Holmes took to tell this story.

Love the story and characters, but this is a series that requires starting with the first book. Otherwise, you will get lost with the list of friends and connections established in prior books.
