Little does she know that coming face to face with the troubled past of the Northlands might set off an unwanted avalanche of events and endanger the lives of herself and the people she loves.

Love Raven and Leo but wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t feel the chemistry at first. It felt more experimental their first times but at least with Shelly and Marco’s experimentation the attraction was obvious. I’m glad at least that there was no other woman drama or last minute tournament withdrawals. There is some drama with Magni and a huge revelation about the royal family that kind of ties everything together. This story ramps up the end of the big reveal’s issues in the next book. I felt like Raven and Leo did have good chemistry later in the book and I loved that she was able to become a police officer

I know this book is about Raven and Leo but Magni isn't someone introduced later in the book. He's been around from the beginning and I was devastated about what happened. I almost cried real tears. This series has been beyond anything I've ever read. It's unique and refreshing and I'm so sad I only have one book left. Elin Peer is now at the top of my list of authors.

Definitely addictive. The whole series was great and I'm sad to let it go now that it's over. I appreciate it being free and wonder why all the best series I find always are. I 100% recommend all the books in this series. The author has done a great job making everyone relatable and each book enjoyable.

I love all of this series! But with the murder mystery and surprise drone accident, this one is my favorite since the very first with Christina the archeologist and Boulder! Each book has its better parts but this one truly had me entranced the whole way through!!

Oooo this one was SO GOOD! it was an age gap, boss/employee romance.
But what made it really interesting was the investigation that Raven conducts.

I have looked forward to Raven’s story. To finally see her in action at the police academy with the North men was a joy. I like that she staked her claim and proved she could be an cadet and get her man

I agree with previous reviewer, hated the unfortunate circumstances with Magni. The women in this series are irritating, especially Raven and Pearl. The narrators continue to do a fantastic job with characters. Will take a brief break and resume listening. A TV series should be made out of these books!

Frustrating and Sad

I love this series . It is seriously funny, educational, and intelligent. Elin Peer is brilliant. I would calll her an educator, mediator, problem solver and lover. The readers were perfect for the this story.
I recommend to anyone esp listeners that need to hear the lessons the series teaches.
