This book is comprehensive!
This is an excellent book on learning how to become a more effective public speaker. The book takes you through steps to become better and more confident. My favorite is the discussions on the practice using the power stance. This stance adds to your confidence and when practicing in front of a mirror, does wonders! From here you can also learn how to outline your speeches better. This is an excellent book.

Good for Those Afraid of Public Speaking
As an adult, I have always been afraid of public speaking which is weird because I used to do it as a child all the time! I really liked this book because it broke down each faucet of public speaking to make it seem less stressful and more enjoyable without the anxiety. It tells you what to do, how to think, and where to go in your mind while you're speaking. I highly recommend for those who a scaredy cats like me!

Comprehensive advice that works
The strategies for overcoming anxiety, the focus on preparation, understanding your audience, and even the part on how to use your voice effectively started to make sense to me. My favorite chapter was the one on social anxiety and transforming fear into confidence. For the first time, I'm not trying to avoid speaking opportunities. I've led a few meetings at work that have gone really well. If you're like me, someone who used to lose sleep over speaking in front of an audience, this audiobook is for you!

The perfect preparation for public speaking events
Strategies from how to pick your topic to how to hold your body when you speak, how to engage the audience, and what to do when it's a tough crowd. The importance of storytelling and the need for passion in your subject. Also what not to do. This covers the whole process from start to finish. the narration was pleasant and I will definitely be giving it another listen.

Great guide
Wow I'm so glad I came across this audiobook - I have never thought about studying public speaking principles, but I learned a ton from this guide. There are so many specific tools and strategies that I found so helpful, from different ways to structure and deliver speeches, to how to deal with negative thoughts and emotions, and boost confidence. Overall a highly informative and valuable listen, and I will definitely be putting these techniques to use
