Keeping watch over the Easter Sepulchre, where the Host and crucifix are stored between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, is considered a privilege. This volume did not disappoint! It's wonderful getting lost in the past with familiar characters. I enjoy the details about daily life, such as the food, buildings, and people. Arthur is my favorite character, followed by Kate! Then Sir Hugh, bless his heart.

This entertaining installment of the series is another winner! Although a shorter listen than some of Starr’s other works, which I hope will not become a trend for the author, the story is very engaging, well paced, with a satisfying ending.
