Loved the series since I was a kid. Started out with loch and have been reading them every time I could get my hands on them. Very easy to reread.

I think the thing I did not like as much was the narrator having an English accent kind of took away from the story for me and some of his like crying out for the character sounded like a week moan seemed a little off-putting. the book is fun I read it as a kid it's a young adult kind of thing but has some jumpscares the book itself seems a little lacking I think they could delved into making the surrounding a little better but it was a fun read

As a child and young adult I absolutely hated reading, this was the first book I picked up and couldn't stop reading. I subsequently bought every single Paul in the monster book and read them.

This is my favorite childhood book.
