He quickly decides that she is the most confounding captive he has ever known. Soon, he regrets that he's made any deal with the Ramsays to trade her, for Lachlan is not sure he can ever let her go.

I guess I am a sucker for women healing angry, broken men. Absolutely loved this story. Brought tears more than once. Uplifting and heartfelt.

Really pretty good story. Loved that Lac’s mother Diana had a great big part in this! Loved all of the other supporting characters and the main love story. Mari was really great in some parts and really a dumb lack whit in others. Never found out where she really puts her trauma, as Lac was wondering. Mayhap she just sighs and forgets about it 🙄 Outstanding narration!!!
