Mindy had just returned with Mac from Mac’s Quest. It was much more dangerous than Amber had guessed. Mindy and Mac had run into another staff of power held by wicked Joradoffa. Even though they were victorious and succeeded in destroying another evil magician and his staff of power, Amber was still uneasy. Something or someone kept directing these quests to eliminate evil in their world. Amber could not shake the feeling that their tasks were still left unfinished and it felt dark and sinister. A blue jewel pulsed on top of the chest. When Amber touched the jewel the lid came open, and both Mindy and Amber gasped. What they saw inside was impossible for it to exist.
