This was a fun, fluffy, cute, low angst, spicy little romcom that I is a good breather for when you’re in between heavier reads!

Also really enjoyed the audio (available through KU) and it made the characters fun personalities really come to life!

This is a wonderful story between Olive and Jude. It was so quirky and cute! It was a fun read that made my heart feel good. This is just what I needed to read! Just plain fun!! 💙💜

No dislikes here. Of course the predictability to some degree, but plot and character development: A+++

Was this my favorite book by Teagan Hunter? No, but I still really enjoyed it. Jude and Olive were sweet characters, and their chemistry was palpable. I liked how the mistaken/hidden identity aspect of this story played out and that it wasn't this super drawn-out thing taking up a huge part of the story. I liked how their relationship developed, and I appreciated how they came back together in the end. Jude's grand gesture was honestly so perfect for this story.

I understand why people want this book to turn into a series, as I am very curious about Jasper's story, but I also really appreciate this being a true standalone, where we get to decide for ourselves what happens with everyone else after the story ends.

I'm still very much a fan of Teagan Hunter, and I will definitely be reading whatever she comes out with next.

Olive had been using Jasper Rafferty’s, a famous actor, DMs as her diary, thinking he’d never see them. And he didn’t…but his brother, Jude did. Jude ended up replying and continued having a conversation with Olive, but he never told her he wasn’t Jasper.

I was a little angry that Jude never told Olive the truth, at least not right away. He kept talking to her, letting her believe he was Jasper. He did tell her eventually, though. And he was so sweet.

Olive was an influencer, and I loved that she stuck by her values. She didn’t just go with big brands because they didn’t align with her views.

This was cute and full of great banter and some big gestures.

I always love a Teagan book and this one was such a fun, entertaining read!! The concept of the story was so perfect for the world we live in of social media and Teagan twisted it into this fantastic celebrity romance between a plus size model and movie star. It’s a romcom with so many sweet moments that will have you smiling, the cutest DM messages back and forth, lots of funny banter, all the family & friend interactions on the side and was just a low angst, easy read! It is a slow burn to the spice but the plot flows so well making it such an enjoyable read!

This story is about Olive who is a social media influencer and a plus size model. She lost her father suddenly and after her therapist suggested she journals her emotions. Olive decided to randomly use the movie star, Jasper Rafferty’s DMs to do just that, thinking he’d never see them. However, his brother Jude, who is also an actor, comes across them and begins to message her back as Jasper.

I have to add that I absolutely adored all of the interactions between Jude and his siblings as well as Olive and her best friend, Annie! It created so many sweet moments that make you fall in love with all of these side characters as well. The way they all just love each other but also have that joking sibling/friend banter was so just so heartwarming to read! I’m hoping those Rafferty siblings get some stories next!

AUDIO REVIEW:
This audio narration made this story SO easy to listen to!!! Laurie West and Alastair Hayensbridge brought this fun romcom to life. First, I love Alastair’s voice so much and he had the perfect upbeat tone and completely fit the personality of Jude who is a hollywood actor. He also has a fantastic higher pitch female voice that flowed so well in Jude’s chapters. Then there is Laurie whose voice was so enjoyable and matched exactly what I envisioned for Olive. She has a soft, breathy tone with so much emotion in her voice that makes you feel everything and just brought Olive to life. Overall, these two made this whole audiobook feel like it flew by as their performance was so entertaining and enjoyable!

4.5 stars - There's so many factors about this story that I love, and listening to it on audio made it even better. From the witty banter, to the mistaken identity (think You've Got Mail with a little spice thrown in), topped off with a curvy FMC and a cinnamon roll hero...you can just put a fork in me, I'm done.

I laughed so hard through most of this book and didn't want it to ever end. The best friends and siblings are supportive and hilarious, making each moment fly by while putting a smile on my face and counting down until they next appear on page.

Most of all, I appreciate that the author made Olive such a genuine character, and my plus-size heart adored watching her stand up for her beliefs and values while facing scrutiny by the public eye.

Once Jude called her "Sunshine", I knew that I'd love their journey from beginning to end. If you're looking for a cute romantic comedy that will get you out of a book slump, or just make your day a little brighter, add this to your TBR!

This is my new favorite Teagan Hunter book!

Jude and Olive - they accidentally meet online.
Because you know writing your diary in the DM's of a movie star is normal. No one will ever see it. Until his brother does. Then they start talking, but as his brother!
And shocking, they meet in real life, and do not mesh!
Enemies to lovers, mistaken identity, Movie Stars, models - a lot of fun in this book. First time with both these narrators and I really enjoyed their performances.

There are very few authors I will preorder books for, Teagan Hunter is one of them! This story has it all: a meet cute (or meet conflict?), well developed and interesting characters, heat, chemistry, flaws and vulnerabilities. All of those things add up to another 5 star gift from Teagan!!
