Great characters, the plot keeps you intrigued and the twists have twists which are so awesome. Loved this one!

But took a wrong turn at the lake back in 2010. I really wanted to like this book but by the end I was just scratching my head wondering what the next unlikely curve would be. And how much more Gunner could whine. I have really liked all the other KM books I’ve read and was excited to see that this was part of a series. Unfortunately, I will not be listening to the rest of the books in this series. :-(

Like why would he think the love of his life would have sex w his brother only hours after having sex w him. Just to run off and never look back. He should have known better! But the book was good.

Good love story but frustrating

The narrators were terrible. If I didn’t want to waste the money on the purchase I would have turned it off. The girl narrator trying to sound like a guy was laughable, almost as much as the guy narrator trying to sound like an old woman but actually sounding like Bill Clinton. This was terrible.

I’m a huge fan Modglin’a but found this story to be slow, dry, and boring.
