Acerca de esta escucha

Now, a short read that will tell you virtually everything you need to know about the 1st Thessalonians 4 rapture. Paul lists three elements of the rapture sequence: the Resurrection, the "Change," and the Meeting; by which he is able to assure the Thessalonians that their beloved dead will rise first. Theories on the timing of the rapture have taken center stage and the true comfort of the passage has been completely misdirected. This digest is a compilation of over twenty years of biblical research that started with an epiphany about the importance of Paul's "Last enemy of Christ" –death, which further unfolded into this extraordinary revelation. Having authored several books on Bible prophecy, the author holds out that this little booklet may stand as the end all, be all on the study of the rapture. Step One in unraveling the mystery of the rapture and its timing is getting to know Paul and his thought process. Beyond the research of most other rapture-timing authors, Steinle has walked in the footsteps of Paul on three different excursions, – by land and by sea – along the old Roman highways and by ship throughout the northern Mediterranean, including most of Paul's Malta shipwreck course. The author has taught on location in Israel, Philippi, Thessaloniki, Corinth, and Athens. While other rapture studies focus on occurrences of the Greek word for "coming" (parousia); or on the timing of the rapture in relation to the Tribulation, "The Change Called the Rapture" investigates what the rapture actually is. Once the rapture is understood as Paul meant for it to be understood, the timing issue becomes secondary and simply falls into place. The book is based on two key chapters from "Reclaiming the Rapture," co-authored with Dr. Douglas Hamp. That book paints a much larger picture of end time events. Whereas, "The Change" explores the inner workings of the rapture sequence – and, yes, as the reader will discover, there is a clearly defined chain of events within what has been called "the rapture."
