I listened all the way through, waiting for a climax that never came. Disappointing ending.

Some characters just didn’t ring true to me. Found the story hard to buy into. It certainly wasn’t my favorite.

I usually enjoy Kate Hewitt's work. This story, however, was a bit tedious. I finished it out and felt disappointed. I just couldn't relate to the main characters on any level, and too often found myself frustrated with them. If you like stories where the women are sad, without spine and no sense of self agency, this one's for you.
