I was searching for Berenstein Bear Classics, like new baby, moving day, too much junk food, messy room, etc. instead all I can find are these religious books. Very disappointing since we are not Christian I couldn’t find any that we could listen to in the car With my daughter. The books go beyond the moral teachings of Christianity, which I would certainly be glad to share with my kids but actually explicitly include Bible verses.

Ick. Each story starts with a Christian scripture verse and then there is a simplistic story about it. Lots of preaching and Bible talk, and not the fully fleshed-out stories and characters that are usually in Bernstein Bears books. I thought I was just getting a nice kid's story, not indoctrination in another religion.
