Acerca de esta escucha

Here are two excellent and obscure occult works from the turn of the 17th century plucked from dusty forgotten shelves to be placed before the eyes of modern students of Magic, Kabbala, and esotericism. The first was originally entitled Table de 72 Anges tiree cabalistiquement des 72 noms ineffables de Dieu avec leurs noms, puissances, et les jours aux quels ils president dans les douze lunes or Table of 72 Angels derived cabalistically from the 72 ineffable names of God with their names, powers, and the days over which they preside in the 12 moons. This book was a handwritten manuscript which once graced the vast library of the French nobleman, diplomat, and bibliophile Marc Antoine René de Voyer, Marquis de Paulmy and Marquis d'Argenson (1722-1787), and it contains detailed instructions for summoning angelic helpers or "geniuses" to fulfill the spellcaster's desires. The true author remains unknown, as does the date of the manuscript's completion.
The second book is entitled Le Texte d'Alchimie et le songe verd or The Text of Alchemy and the Green Dream which was published anonymously in France in 1695. It is fascinating in its style and gives the distinct impression that if one were well aquainted with alchemical proceedings, one would make a great leap forward in the Great Work by perusing this work. The process of finding the "Vegetal Stone" is also addressed, after which the author speaks of "dream" - a bizarre journey into a higher realm of existence where superhumans are sustained entirely by a diet of flowers - it is up to the reader to interpret this weird and engaging allegory.
