Acerca de esta escucha
The lure of lost lands, the finding of new lands to conquer, is one of the factors Inherent in the movement of progress. And the fact that we have apparently exhausted the possibilities of geographical discoveries Columbus wise probably plays a part in the fascination such stories as Tarzan's adventures in "Darkest Africa" hold. It was inevitable that Robert E. Howard, for whom the past held a deep romantic grip, would try his hand at dreaming up a lost city of the ancients still awaiting its modern discoverer.
This fascinating story appeared in the first issue of the short-lived companion magazine to Weird Tales called Oriental Stories. As such it is probably unknown to most avid fans themselves, and will come to over 99 percent of the listeners as a brand new Robert E. Howard fantasy adventure.

Charlie Tower seeks refuge from the horrors of the Great War in Berlin's most notorious nightclubs. There a chain of events is set in motion that will lead him across Europe to investigate the mysterious Black Stone. Is it merely a creation of superstitious peasants, or is it a nexus for hideous gods of the ancient world to set foot into ours?
