Enjoy the MC sensible, smart, intelligent, good world building, but to be a little bit jarring because it takes place in a different scenario or world. Enjoy the story and action as far as it went. Didn’t like the abrupt ending of the book. it seems like it just dropped off a cliff. Will read the next one which is out already.

Great story but ended sort of in the middle

Solid continuation, but power growth remains slow for the length and half this book feels like an over extended side-quest. Love the character and this has one of the best overarching worlds/mysteries I've read. Unfortunately the author tends to introduce more new questions than provide answers that push the plot forward. Book 3 was a huge step back in this regard. Spoilers........ Rather than gain anymore knowledge of the realm we've spent the last 2 books in, MC is sent to a new mysterious realm for half the book (plus the next one). We see little to none of the characters from the last one and I feel further away from understanding the overarching plot after finishing. Will definitely continue the series but the next will be my last of this trend continues.

The mc is a total power house, but not without weaknesses and flaws. Love the narration. The story so far is amazing and the mc is off into a new world, i dont know what its leading too, but im looking foward to it.

Best world building I've come across of late.

the story is great but the author is starting to explain way too much I mean he explained so much I forgot alot of it and the story is still good without that memory of the explanation.

not the best book

I frequently read along with whispersync when listening to an audiobook. When the narrator says something different from what is written, I try to add a note in the kindle app. But this happened so often in this book that I got tired of it and stopped.

Also, I HATE that he reads “/M” as “times multiplier” instead of “per minute.” how the hell do you get times multiplier from /M?!

They just keep getting better. Definitely one of my favorite main characters, authors, as well as narrators. Can’t wait for the next one fellas.
