A very worthy sequel as it dives deeper into William and Sydney’s dilemma of what to do as they await the arrival of the fleet to destroy both of them – and then there’s a twist with a super mercenary. Man – what a payoff. I want more and I want it now!

Great story, well-written, loved the characters, and narration was great also!
I had a blast listening to both books, and am off to look for more titles by this Author!

I'll start by saying, I started this series with this book. That being said, I didn't really feel like I struggled to figure out what was going on. There were, maybe, a couple references I didn't fully get, but nothing that distracted from this book's story. There was pretty good balance in this book between the relationship stuff and the action. The narration is well done, too. Sometimes, I'm hesitant to go for books where the author narrates their own books, but he did well. All in all, I'd say this is worth your time if you like sci fi.

I liked the overall storyline but dislike how childish the protagonists often act.... Although, they are still in high-school and with surging hormones and changes I understand it.

I was a little confused about the ending. It was not what I was expecting, and a little sad about how it happened (don't want to spoil here).

The vocal recording is very clear without any background noises. Occasionally I feel there is the wrong emotion used by the author based on characters words but is well done.

Great series that has had me hooked from chapter 1. Best of the series so far. A recommended read for sci-fi fans.

Cosby is really talented. Wow...I just love this writer, and the narrator is just amazing. Story keeps getting better and better. You NEED to read this series. Amazing!!

this book was as good as the first one it was very enjoyable and very very good the performer was a very good narrator and overall it was a wonderful story it was longer than the first book and maybe the first book was a little bit better in my opinion but this book wasn't a bad book at all I liked it

The Narrator is of course familiar with the material and gave a good performance.

I don't really have anything to add from the first one. If you haven't listened to it yet, start with that one so you know what's going on. The characters still make decisions outside of what I would like to consider mature logic, but again, it's kind of justified by the whole love thing.

If you read the first one and for any reason you're on the fence about giving the second installment a chance, I'd say go for it.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this one.
