Acerca de esta escucha
This is the Anti-Motivational book. The truth hurts... But it hurts soooo good.
Read this book and you'll understand the title better. YES, I'm asking you to judge a book by it's cover. What else do you have to go on until you read it??
Do you ever wonder what's holding you back? Is it your mindset? Is it your situation? Is it the very people who love you? This book goes over the important aspects of doing life your own way and not letting the "noise" distract you or tear you down. The most successful people in the world were probably called "stupid" by someone. Did it stop them?
This book is more than your typical "motivational" or "self help" book. It will go against the grain on most topics you've probably already read about. I've been accused of thinking differently... and not always in a good way.
Sometimes people have that look on their face of "what the heck is this guy talking about?" I feed off of that. I use it to stoke that fire inside me. But I surely don't bow to their opinions and accusations even though they have a right to express them. What I believe is right, is almost always right for me. Even if that means changing my mind because maybe that outside source had a better idea. The key is to recognize it and use your gut to follow it.
Ever go into a room and decide to sit down just as someone tells you to sit down? Do you sit down anyway? Or do you let the influence of that person change your mind to stand just because you "can't be told what to do"? Funny how the mindset can be sometimes. Put away the pride folks!
This book is probably a bit more "in your face" than you're used to. I just started paying attention a long time ago and get a little frustrated when I see someone being "led" by another person or group claiming to help. They are probably sincere but that's beside the fact.
If they're calling YOU "Stupid", you're probably on the right track! The same people calling you "Stupid" are more than likely the less successful, or maybe they're more bitter. Let them say what they want. Just keep moving in the right direction!
The "right direction" isn't the direction I tell you to go. It's not what others say either. It's your own way.
I know, I know... You've heard it all before. Most people have "heard it all before" and yet... They still care what others think and don't want to be called stupid for doing it "wrong". Wrong isn't always wrong. It might be their wrong... But it may not be yours.
Use this book to get a different mindset. That's where success starts. Most people are NOT successful by definition of most people. They ARE successful at something. They might be successful at failing. That's not the "successful" most people think about.
What "successful" do you want to be?
