This author is wonderful and I love her work! There are some sound/recording issues, but I still enjoyed being read a picture book. If you are familiar with this author and their content on social media, you'll be delighted to hear her tell you about some of the spookiest of lakes.

Recording doesn’t match the side notes as you follow along. Overall does not distract from an easy fun read with my child.

umm yes hello. Geo has done an EXCELLENT job capturing everything we love about the world's spooky lakes! Get ready to dive into the perfect blend of scientific fact and storytelling. I absolutely love Geo's narration and am so happy to have spooky lake stories all year round!

Geo did a great job. I will say who ever edited this story missed a few moments that probably needed to be edited out or around. A few times she’d start over and re read a sentence and it was clear that wasn’t supposed to be there. Not Geos fault though so all 5 stars for her!

I’m a fan of the TikTok series, but this book is an excellent expansion of the tidbits of knowledge the clips can give you. I already have recommended the books to my cousins with kids, they will absolutely find the macabre facts interesting.

My only complaint is the narration, Geo does a good job but there were a couple editing errors, like a blooper and a Fun Fact being repeated twice later in the book.
10/10 spookies though, looking forward to reading my hard copy for the art!

The audiobook itself is awesome and wonderful - but you kind of need the actual book to be able to appreciate the art that Geo created herself, and to understand when the sidenotes come about.
