I like how the book is easy to follow, it has breathing and stretching exercises and also has you writing in a journal, so you can reflect. As a grandmother, I’ve carried a lot over the years, some of it joyful, some of it heavy. This workbook felt like a gentle, guiding hand helping me lay down some of that weight. Informative, straightforward, helpful and so applicable to daily life. This is not my first book on somatic therapy and some of these techniques I am already familiar with but this was a well written book that I would use as a resource and share for anyone interested and wants to increase their self awareness of mind body connection and overall increase their quality of life!

This is an excellent audiobook that is jam packed with info, tips and guidance to help with the somatic nerve and recovery/healing. I really liked that it explains everything from a simple perspective which is great for me since I don't have a medical background. It is positive and encouraging and the narrator, Sabreen Baker, does a wonderful job keeping your attention and not rushing through the book including exercises and techniques to help you manage. For anyone who is curious about Somatic therapy or looking for a way to heal this is for you!
