Acerca de esta escucha
In the land of Beryl, there is a forest, and in those woods lived Widow Abigail and her two dear daughters Snow and Rosie. The girls are opposite to each other in their dispositions, but they love each other dearly. Living off what the forest provides, they play games and help their mother with chores around the home, but the sisters love most for their mother to tell them stories after dinner.
One winter’s night, the line between fairy tale and reality begins to blur when their mother begins the tale about a forest spirit who falls prey to his own inner demon of greed. The girls’ lives change forever when the next day they find a bear caught in a trap and nurse him back to health, finding he is not only gentle but can talk, too.
Not long after, the sisters encounter another creature named Jabber who, unlike the bear, is not so thankful for their help.
Snow’s heart aches when they don’t see the bear again. Though they see too much of Jabber for Rosie’s liking, and a mysterious young man from across the sea comes to their woods seeking his lost brother.
Will those who are lost be found? Snow and Rosie learn that even though times can be hard and sad, as long as they stick together, they can find new happy beginnings in the stories of their own lives.
