 Seven Letters to Seven Churches, Seven Messages to Pastors and Churches from the Book of Revelation is a compilation of sermons preached at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. The sermon series focuses on the seven letters to seven churches documented in Revelation 2-3.

In Revelation 1:11, Jesus instructs John to write,

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

As mentioned, these are sermons that were preached at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Sermons are meant to be preached and not read. The sermons have been edited and modified to make them more readable. It is Dr. Phelps’ hope and prayer that you will not only read them but be inspired to study Revelations 2-3 and to preach and teach them as well.

Rev. Dr. Kenneth D. Phelps serves as the Senior Pastor of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. Dr. Phelps is also the owner and CEO of IMANI Faith Productions and IMANI Writers Cohort and the Founder/Executive Director of Concord Community Organization (CCO) and the Home Away From Home Center. Dr. Phelps holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Wartburg College and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL. Married to Veneeta B. Phelps for thirty-seven years. Dr. Phelps is the father of three beautiful children, who are his pride and joy, Kenneth (Karina), Morgan (Michael) and David, and grandfather to Ty, Kalissa Destiny, Adriel, and Mikey.
