Acerca de esta escucha
The United States remains in an advisory role in South Vietnam in the summer of 1964, but the drumbeats of war are growing louder. American Steve Jordan comes to the troubled country looking to reset his life with a new job as an adviser to the Saigon police. He has barely unpacked his bags when he is assigned to probe the gruesome murder of a Canadian diplomat. The investigation forces him to navigate an unfamiliar city that is awash with tropical downpours, cheap liquor and murky intrigue. Meanwhile, each lead pulls back the curtain on a new layer of corruption, ambition and Cold War deceit. Nobody expects the case to be solved, and even worse, nobody seems to care — except Jordan.
This fictional mystery is based on an actual unsolved case.
