The sun’s rays caught the point and reflected back at the closest ship. The rays entered its sensors and disrupted the quantum fields in its main frame. As all the ships were networked the disruption was felt by all of them.

The most important mission of this advance wave was to analyze weapons the humans possessed. Their computers locked on and diverted more and more capacity to analyzing this disruptive object.
