Acerca de esta escucha

Shortly after the shameful events of Monarchia, the Word Bearers Legion have begun to prosecute the Great Crusade with a previously unseen level of zealotry and aggression.

The world of Forty-Seven Sixteen falls into their sights, a world where the human populace worship graven idols in their heathen rights and yet plead to be integrated into the wider Imperium. Captain Sor Talgron of the 34th Company stands ready to serve his primarch - but does the Legion have more in common with the people of Forty-Seven Sixteen than they realise?

I thought this was more than i wanted to pay for something just over an hour long, and the main battle portion was something that just didn't seem to hold my interest very well. Once it got to the end though, I LOVED the ending, and it really brought to light how the word bearers got where they are. Worth it.

Pricey, but a great ending

While the narration is decent, the book is more battle report then anything else, what little actual story is present does nothing but mention names you have heard before, but you learn nothing about those characters, and all in all its just a waste of time... If you want a battle report then you might find something you like here, but if you want something with a bearing on the overall story, then look elsewhere

Edit: after reading/listening to The First Heretic this book be came even more pointless, it depicts the same conflict plus more

Little to No value
