This is a very entertaining suspense story with loyal, smart, intuitive characters, and great K-9s. There is a nice mix of suspense and action, and a nice, clean romance. The story has a nice pace. I really enjoyed it!! The performance is good.

I love Laura Scott books. This book was a transition to the next book in the series. Scent of Peril touched on a few previous story points and had some romance. I'm looking forward to the next book after hearing the preview.
