I was born in 1940 & this story was very educational as well as entertaining and believable. I look forward to another audible book by this author.

Excellent story line, very descriptive

What an amazing life lived. This amazing true story about two people in love, torn apart by war with only the hope of seeing each other again pushing them through the ordeal. This story really captured WWII from a totally different point of view which
we have never seen on film or television or read. Narration was well done, i highly recommend a listen!
