Very good reading of this book by the narrator.
The case made by the author for somewhat “out of the box” (maybe considered “historical”) reading and understanding of the Bible was thoughtful and compelling. As an avid reader and lover of The Word, the case made in these pages opened up the dimension of biblical understanding and sacredness. Bravo!! Very well done! Made me sad (but glad!) to know the author has already gone on to glory.

If you grew up fundamental and have done any type of deconstruction, this book is for you. I can't say I agree with everything, but it shines light into the darkness of Christian religion and brings freedom to experience God for yourself instead of trying to experience God through a set of doctrines.

I enjoyed the book immensely. It was eye-opening. The narrator's voice sounded overly "moist" and I found myself sympathetically clearing my throat for him on several occasions. My personal problem, I suppose.
