We will use the information in this book to collect rainwater. I was struck by the statement that humans are walking talking rain. Also, that rain is the only way to replenish the water on earth, and we can't afford to waste it. Very thorough directions on how to build rain collectors, and how to filter rainwater.

We have been hearing for a while now that fresh water supply is limited and we should be more conscious about the amount of water we consume and building in sustainable habits. Well, this book will tell you everything you need to know about harvesting rain water! The different methods available for doing it, how to do it properly so you do not get into issues. Wow! This audiobook is very informative. I knew absolutely nothing about rainwater harvesting, but the title caught my eye and I had to listen. Every chapter is informative and engaging, but Chapter 2, Uses of Harvested Rainwater was very fascinating. I had no idea that India had a particular area that was impoverished, and a farmer experienced severe drought. After a group of farmers utilized a rainwater harvest system, the area became an oasis which became a great harvest and became the home for millionaire farmers. If you want to know how to build and maintain your own rainwater harvesting system, then this audiobook is a must listen!

This book is a comprehensive guide to maintaining a clean water system! The author does a great job of providing the background of harvesting rainwater which is especially useful for beginners! This audiobook is a very practical guide on how one can repurpose rainwater in many ways! Appreciate how much detail that author includes about the impact of rainwater harvesting and how to ensure harvesters are safely doing this! Additionally, the book provides a thoughtful approach to doing this legally - which a lot of other books do not cover. Highly recommend it for beginners and anyone else interested in building a clean water system!

Given the current climate of high energy bills and the ongoing threat of global warming and instability, I have been looking into many ways to save money and help the environment at the same time. I have been enjoying looking into home farming and now after listening to this fantastic audiobook on harvesting rain water, I am so keen to get started on RWH at home.

This is an excellent beginners guide that has everything you need to know to get you set up but it also goes into great detail about other ways rain water has been harvested around the world. The chapters on rain water storage and purification and maintaining your rain water harvesting system were my favourite as I learnt so much about how I can keep this system going long term. I also really enjoyed the authors style and found it to be very personable as well as educational. A must have for anyone looking to set up their own RWH system at home.
