This has caused him to rely on a group of conscripted engineers lead by the resourceful but impulsive Kyle Cassidy for his special operations. Their ship Seeker of Moons had previously been in combat with the Empire and had survived but one of his crew was among the hundreds and possibly thousands of female humans abducted by the empire. Kyle known as Getaway by his friends was determined to track down the women, especially Pixie from his crew and Lady Khadisha the consort of Prince Morgan as well as finding out why their women were being taken.
