The plot itself was really enjoyable, but it’s very blatant reskinned avengers fanfiction. The character descriptions match their Marvel counterparts down to what clothes they wear and where certain injuries are. It had a negative effect on my immersion at first until I could will myself to picture different faces on the cast. It also tends to assume that the reader is already familiar with the Avengers movies.

Other than that I really enjoyed how the story flowed overall. I found myself wanting to return to it when I had to stop reading and felt the need to know what would happen next. David is an energetic distinct character and I can appreciate that in a protagonist.

And these next points are just small nitpicks for personal taste reasons, but the verb ‘niggled’ was overused and a little jarring the first time I heard it. I also think it would’ve been more fun if the alien characters were more alien, but I understand that them appearing the same as plain humans is a result of the Marvel influence. I would’ve loved me some monster boys, though.

This book had everything, sex, romance, sci-fi. The only think missing was more. It’s so hard to find good MM writing that isn’t pure erotica or lacking in a good plot. Please write more Caroline.

Weird, but awesome. David's dilemma, Vells plight, crystal magic and planet hopping, it all comes together in an oddly touching tale.

I felt this book was really entertaining I like action adventures with a little bit of romance. This was the perfect mix, it gave us relevant sex scenes with a good overall story line. I did enjoy the characters and the narrator

Very nice fantasy of a collard slave prince plight for freedom or acceptance of his circumstances. The whole time your wondering what the prince really wanted or needed most. Freedom, love or both. Worth the credit.

I enjoyed this book very much. The story sucked me in from the very beginning and I loved following how the relationship between David and his unwanted slave developed from mild annoyance to hot and steamy feelings. Both characters were interesting and likable. Narrator did a great job with his voices for every character as well as telling this story. I am looking forward to more books by this author and narrator.

I very much enjoyed reading Caroline Gibson’s debut story Prince for Sale from the Thrall Prince Collection. The title and summary tease a plot that would be right up the alley of many fans of fantasy romance-erotica. A royal prince and warrior is brought to his knees and at the mercy of his former enemy. But this scenario is complicated by the terms of the magical binding connecting the two men. While the sex scenes are incredibly hot, what truly shines through is the character-driven interactions that quickly pull in the reader’s investment until they are struggling with the same moral dilemmas.

“The binding pressed down on him, dragging him into a vortex of submission and gratitude and a bottomless need to be pleasing and obedient.”

Though the details of Vell’s past exploits are vague, it is difficult for any reader not to empathize with the situation of his enslavement. Though the majority of the novel is told from the point of view of David, a brilliant scientist and inventor, this perspective allows us to follow the growth of both characters. As the two are forced into intimacy, David must toe the line between necessity and abuse - complicated both by the power bestowed on him by the magical binding and his growing fondness for the former prince. As if that were not enough, political entanglements from Vell’s home world and the world of his former master have the potential to threaten the precarious arrangement Vell and David have as well as Earth itself. The author balances the situation with great moments of humor and wit - even the seemingly broken Vell has a fantastic personality that shines through as the two build a shaky trust.

“David rolled his eyes. ‘Are you always such a little sh*t?’ he asked, shaking his head…
‘Indeed, you can ask my brother. I always am the same. I am Vell.’”

This novel has a great balance of emotion, comfort, action, and sex that made it a fantastic read, and I really look forward to reading more stories with these characters. If you’re a fan of sexually charged scenes that compliment an emotion-driven plot with moments of peril, this novel has everything you like!

Can you bend your morals without breaking them if the situation demands it? What’s to stop you from going past the point of no return? Find out by reading Prince for Sale! The narrator of the audiobook is fantastic and I highly recommend it!

I came across this so randomly on eBay and went to Goodreads. When I heard it was former fanfic I was sold. (Bc fanfic is WHAT I LIKE). It did not disappoint.
This book is crack. Onto the next one!!!

First the story is unique and the characters very likeable. A new twist on the the slave master dynamic. The reader is fantastic, I will seek out more titles read by him.
