This guide is a beautiful combination of taking a holistic approach to childbirth and adding in devotions to ensure that you are as prepared as you can be for your little one coming. Childbirth can be such a hard and scary time but being prepared can take some of the edge off so that you feel you have more control. The guidance provided throughout the book is spot on with what I was looking for such as how to find the right doula, where to set up, what works best, and what to be cautious of. The author provides both the pros and cons of natural childbirth so that you can make a decision that works best for you and your upcoming birth.

Adding in the spiritual side to the book really makes this an amazing book. Taking the devotional route really shows that the author is trying their best to empower the soon-to-be mom for a big moment in their life.
