This story was such a good one! I listened to the dual narration audio book and enjoyed it so much!

Nila and Cameron were great characters who were both dealing with some difficult things. Nila was successful professionally, but had built walls around her heart to protect herself after the death of her grandmother. She truly struggled throughout the story with trusting Cameron and allowing herself to love and be loved. She had this idea that all good things end so she didn't want to allow herself to be hurt again.

Cameron was such a stand up guy who was extremely loyal. He ended up in a public relations nightmare of a situation and needed Nila's expertise to get his image repaired. I really felt for Cameron as he had so many hoops to jump through due to someone else's lies. He felt things deeply and my heart hurt for him at a few different points in the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed Penalty of Love and am so happy that it is the first book in the Glacier Hockey series.
