Acerca de esta escucha

There is a hidden threat in the world: Humans with extraordinary abilities and little control over them. But every government strives to keep this danger a secret and assure the public the world functions exactly how they've always believed. Top Bureau of Specialist Interests (BSI) agent Morgan Connor is tasked with tracking down and recovering these Others. Actively opposing the BSI is a group of renegades called SION, who seek to rescue Others before they're taken into government custody, while the mysterious Mr. Lionhart works in the shadows. When Connor is partnered with the Bureau's newest asset, Orion Starr, he must discover why they are both so interested in the Starr family.

I enjoyed the listen. The narrator was easy to listen to and the story was a good one.

Good story

I enjoyed a lot of the book but felt a lot of the scenes with/about vision were unnecessary even if there is a sequel. Just took up space in a novel that had little to do with them. The story was solid and well written. My one great meh feeling about the book is that I sat waiting through 90% of it for Orion and Connor to break into a homo-erotic frenzy. There was an extreme sexual tension between the 2 that I thought was going to culminate into a trump-esq grabbing of the crotch that never happened. I enjoy romance novels though I prefer straight relationships, so knowing the dynamics of romantic nuances is important to me. I'd say the confusion on that point colored my view towards the negative, but I'd say it's worth it.

Strange
