What happens when you mix a billionaire tycoon, a journalist, and blackmail together?

Angela Reynolds works as a freelance reporter and photographer and lives paycheck to paycheck in a small studio apartment in downtown Manhattan. She doesn't know where her next meal is coming from and can only hope the phone rings and she has a job tomorrow.

All of this changes when she's hired by The New York Times to interview 30-year-old business tycoon Clive Davis - and this billionaire takes a liking to her.

Angela isn't impressed by fast cars, grand gestures, or the fact everyone avoids eye contact with Clive as if they'd insult a god by looking directly at him. Instead it's the man behind the mask that wins her over. But that causes a whole new set of problems that the two, who are from two different worlds, must face.

Will she be able to handle the pressure that comes from being with someone of Clive's background? Will Clive be able to withstand the backlash that may come from being with someone of a lower economic class?

I have read and listened to other books by the authors Roxy Sinclaire and Sky Corgan. I enjoy their style. Arthur J Hoyt was a new narrator to me. I thought he did a very good job bringing the chemistry and banter to life. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and or publisher. Without giving away too much, this book does not end in a cliffhanger and it has a happy ending.

Cute story about a working-class reporter who learns that not all upperclass rich men are indifferent and fake. Clive is sexy... he's attractive, sweet and totally true-blue. Angela is a "seeing is believing" spitfire of a girl so Clive has to show her his reality. The writing is proficient and somewhat predictable, but it's still an easy and entertaining listen.

I don't know much about Arthur J. Hoyt. This is my first experience with his narration and I was impressed. I think he did a better than average job and I look forward to hearing more from him.

This storyline was so much fun, I could not stop listening! Angela, a reporter gets her big break interviewing billionaire Clive Davis. Angela is an incredible character. She has beauty, comes from nothing, but has real grit and attitude. She is determined to get the dirt on this man. Clive, the persona is what she is getting...but he is smitten with her. He draws her out and their relationship changes. She finds out what it is to be a wealthy businessman, and it's not what she thought it was! The idea that he is just not a pompous man, throwing his weight and money around to benefit his character is a huge revelation. We get to meet Clive's brothers, hoping there is more in store for them in the series, this family could be a lot of fun!

Arthur J Hoyt did a fine performance, but I was not enthralled with him. He just doesn't have the feel of the billionaire to me.

I got this book via audiobook boom. The story went from meeting to lovers in no time at all. The story was well developed and the HEA was good. I like the style of writing and the narrator added to the story. Angela was a strong character and stood her ground. I think she was the star of the book.She wielded a mean pen.

Angela is a reporter at the very bottom of the ladder, she lives from hand to mouth, she's not sure she can even pay her rent this month. On the other hand Clive is a sexy billionaire who it appears can do no wrong.

Angela get's a chance to write a 5 piece series on him for The New York Times, she can't believe her luck. If the stories are good she will get a permanent position with them as a staffer. But will she be able to write an unbiased review? She thinks before meeting him that he has to be selfish and false.

The story that developed whilst the interviews were being done was really good and the way these two interact together was really great. I really enjoyed their developing relationship and I really wanted everything to work out for both of them.
