Acerca de esta escucha
I never thought I’d write a book like this, but then again, I never thought I’d end up naked in the woods with a Bible in one hand and marshmallow goo on the other. Life’s funny that way. Jesus has a way of leading us down trails we’d never think to hike, and sometimes, those trails involve a lot less clothing than most folks are used to.
Now, before you go clutching your pearls or spitting out your coffee, let me just say this plain and clear—I love Jesus with my whole heart. He died on the cross for my sins, rose again, and saved my soul. I believe in the Bible, the whole thing, Genesis to Revelation. And I also believe that God created us naked on purpose. Not by accident, not as an afterthought, but on purpose. And when He looked at Adam and Eve in their birthday suits, He called it very good. Not kinda okay if you squint, not only acceptable behind fig leaves, but very good.
I’m Justine Hudson. I’m a devout Christian, a pastor’s daughter, a wife to the best naked man this side of Eden—my husband John—and yes, I’m a nudist. A real one. That means I don’t wear clothes when I don’t have to. That includes when I’m cooking eggs, gardening, reading devotionals, and yes, camping in the woods with other like-minded folks who believe the human body isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s something to be honored, respected, and sometimes aired out in the sunshine with a praise song on our lips.
Now don’t get me wrong, I know a lot of people think nudity and Christianity go together about as well as ketchup and communion. But I’m here to tell you, those people haven’t really read their Bibles. They’ve read into them. They’ve been taught shame and called it modesty. I used to be one of them. I used to cover up so tight you’d think I was smuggling contraband in my cardigan. But when I started peeling back the layers—both physically and spiritually—I found freedom like I’d never known.
This book is for folks who are curious, for folks who have been hiding behind fig leaves of fear, shame, and cultural hangups. It’s for believers who want to live fully in the skin God gave them and do it without guilt or scandal. It’s also for the ones who think I’m a total lunatic, because hey, if you’re gonna judge me, at least know what you’re judging me for.
We’re gonna talk about my first time camping naked and how I almost lit my bare backside on fire trying to roast hot dogs. We’re gonna get into Scripture, real honest stuff about modesty, temptation, and what it really means to be holy. I’ll tell you how I figured out how to sit on a log without regretting it and what it feels like to worship under the stars without a bra strangling your ribcage.
You might laugh, you might cry, and you might end up Googling “Christian nudist campgrounds near me.” I won’t be mad. In fact, I’ll say a little prayer you find one with clean bathrooms and a good worship band.
So if you’re ready to unzip your tent and maybe even your heart, come on in. The water’s warm, the fire’s lit, and yes, we’re all naked—but we’re also clothed in grace.
