As a foster and adoptive parent myself, I so appreciate Peter taking us along on his journey. His story is one that needs to be told. The book really was a page turner as you wanted to find out what happened next. Highly recommend everyone read this book!!!

I am from a third world country, and went to some financial hardship as well, even though, I received some beatings as a child I can say that I was loved. I understand that my parents didn’t try to hurt me, they just didn’t know better. Your story has reaffirmed that I am valuable and I can make a difference in the life of others. Peters story is a modern day “story that lives out. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” ~Genesis 50:20 Peter gives us insight into a world many of us haven’t experienced and shows the need for foster and adoptive parents. He is man who continues to live out his mission and I pray this book sells many more copies and motivates thousands to fight evil with Love through adoption!

I am so thankful that God brought James and Martha into your life Peter! I am just as fearful that you were brought into my life!
It is more obvious that you are changing the lives of the children you have in your home. What may be unknown to you is the lives you are changing of people you have not met, but are blessed enough to know of you.
My life is better with every interaction of you and your story, though I am a stranger.

This is an incredible telling of Peter’s youth, growth, and the generous man he became. Even though his candid telling of his life at home and then on the streets makes your heart ache for him and children like him, your feelings quickly move to joy for him, hope for others, and a motivation to do what you can to help. Really a great book and the performance did it justice!
