The stories and memories came alive as you heard his passion as he spoke. Listening to this book is an experience that should not be missed.

Marcel is an extremely talented writer and performer, as he embodies the capacity to draw listeners into his storytelling for a colorful visual that can only manifest from his deep passion and detailed depiction of lived experiences. The way he dives into vulnerability, as if to strip himself bare right before us, leaves those listening to dream up their own possibilities, which can only come to fruition through bravery and authenticity.

I have followed numbers of exceptionally talented folks who are involved in developing community through the lens of healing; Marcel’s passion and talent are unmatched! The audio that accompanied his reading is mastered to perfection, displaying a team with truly remarkable artistry.

Fable is ocean deep and right on time for humanity!

The “New American Monarch” is VERY DEEP and emotional. The book is full of metaphors that gave me pause and many that made me laugh. The book made me reflect on my own experiences countless times and created a strong connection to the author. I found myself re-reading pieces of the book, in the hard copy, several times throughout the day. To that point, get the hard copy as well! If you want to feel like you were part of the writing process, as much as a fly on the wall can be, then you will be blown away by how the book was designed. It is a beautiful piece of art and there are QR codes on each page that will take you to the audio for each part. If you read it piece by piece and listen to each as you move along you will find yourself reading in Fable’s voice, which is fun! It is all around very impressive. Also, I know this means little, but the book material feels good in your hands. Which to me, shows that there was a lot of care and effort put into the entire production of this offering. I have a feeling this is the first of many amazing things to come from this artist.

Marcel's story telling skills is next to none. I could see the images of the people and things he described as if I was there! I rated the overall a 3 because the production was a little disappointing. It was like he was fighting with the music at times. But it was still quite entertaining and well read of course. Will Smith's book is what it reminded me of but much more poetic.
