Bravo, well written, and I am surprised it is not more popular! It starts off slowly and lots of world-building and has depth and build up and goes a route you don't see and its original. I love Beware of Chicken and Battlemage Farmer, but this is actually about the MC and his farm and his progress. I hope the author continues the series on audible it is worth the listen and the Narrator did a great job and love the cover art. Want a story with a plot here it is.

This story is an adventure/romance there is very little farming and the MC is portaling around so much that it all gets automated.

Theo needs to grow up and stop being a dumbass, he frequently misses any hint that somebody might give that they like him. And that's just the tip of the issue.

A pretty good story for seeing people think they know the mc, and then be surprised by what he can do that they didn't see. This book also had the most dramatic lead into the next book that I've run into for a good while.

5 hours into the story, our MC FINALLY gets to farm. then, disappointingly, everything on the farm is automated, from planting to watering to harvesting. even though the possessed tools do all the work, the MC gets tool proficiency.

the MC lives in a world of magic, but he seems to find it necessary to hide his magic so others dont kill him. this requires him to constantly come up with lies and excuses for every little thing he does, when no one cares about his access to magic.

Story was decent but mc plot armor is strong. Mc also likes to monologue and moralizes. Talk constantly about “betrayal” but only reason he is alive was bc of said “betrayal” and how he was “robbed” of an inheritance got old when he is basically a cheat infinite money glitch character… do get me wrong it was an easy listen but mc hopefully gets over himself in book two and start actually thinking through how to use his skills. ** spoiler **

Dude can literally cancel all magic but just watch’s ppl get merc’d by mages and has an op demoness on call but nah I want to show off my sick sword skills and let these randoms die while the author talk about how amazing my skill is… oh and I’m soooo smart and my self control is awesome….
