Would you consider the audio edition of Mrs. Pollifax and the Whirling Dervish to be better than the print version?

Absolutely loved this whole series. Narration was great except for the last book in the series. Loved the locations and the detailed description about the people, customs, and traditions. Mrs. Pollifax character was a delight and loved her. Listened to the series twice through I enjoyed it so much. The narrator was so good, I can't imagine that reading the books would have been nearly as enjoyable.

Again, Mrs. Pollifax takes us a worldly adventure with twists and turns while continuing to charm us with her wit, compassion, and wise ways. Barbara Rosenblatt narrates the story wonderfully and keeps it entertaining. Great fun!

She never fails to entertain! Another story that has interesting twists, well developed characters and bring the country to life.

Just as good as any in the series despite having a “light” ending. It was a joyful suspense full of hope and cultural nuggets.

Mrs, Pollifax heads to Morocco on another assignment for Carstairs. But then, something happens that hasn't happened before - Mrs. P HATES the agent she is assigned to help. With good reason, as it turns out. But, with a little help from her (new) friends, Mrs. Pollifax completes her mission with her usual flair. No hats in this one, but she does get to wear a veil!

Written in 1990. The publisher's blurb is a good hook for those of us who are addicted to enjoying Mrs Pollifax's adventures as a CIA courier. She is sent to accompany a boorish local agent in Morocco to verify seven agents because something has gone very wrong. Then it gets worse. But she does meet a Holy man who reassures her with The Whirling Dervish Dance: A Sacred Ritual to Touch the Divine.
Reread via Recorded Books audiobook narrated by Barbara Rosenblat
Award winning voice actor Barbara Rosenblatt always does a wonderful job with all the voices and really acts out the story and not just read it. Her voice brings the characters to life with her inflections entirely suited the situations and characters.
