The sheer breadth of valuable gems is astounding

Many of the signals in this book stood out and resonated with me. As a startup founder (Beladed Inc), I think the book does a great job with sticking to signals and avoiding the noise. It was 95% startup focused which included good nuggets of information on the VC world and how to navigate it. Good job Andrew.

Learn the lingo of venture capital

Thorough coverage of the terms and ideas of modern venture capital. An excellent book for both those looking to invest in and those looking to run VC funds. The sections on firing large fractions of a startup's workforce to save the startup were a tough reality check on the risks of participation in a startup and the tough calls a VC needs to make.
