a pretty great Jewish romance

Story it just did not hit the mark for what I was looking for. I absolutely adored the matzo ball and anticipating her next story is this whole premise just did not appeal to me and was a bit all over the place. Too much focused on the witchy stuff and not enough focus on relationship and character development.

I wanted a romantic comedy with Jewish characters. This book had such promise and absolutely did not deliver. First one really has to suspend medical reality to get past the first 1/4 of book. Then the reader has to agree that the main character is both religious enough to only drink Kosher Wine, observe even the minorest of holidays but not religious enough as to believe in and utilize Jewitch magic. That in itself makes no sense at all. And what is worse, the author also feels the need to explain the most insignificant of Jewish rituals and NOT explain very basic plot premises. I am super disappointed.
