Time is ticking; lives hang in the balance.

I traded in my life of magic and demon hunting for a quiet one a long time ago. compelling story telling with no distractions or rabbit holes. if you're interested in a straight up urban fantasy this is the stuff you're looking for. it's a bit short but compelling, I just wish they'd merge the books.

straightforward awesomeness

I love the world building and the premise of the story but the main girl character just was tol default for me to enjoy. I think people who love fantasy, adventure, magic, and demons will enjoy this book. the heroine is slightly damaged but that's in back story I won't give too much away
