Like promising to marry a woman he's never loved so he can be the next chieftain of Clan Stronach.

When Kenzie realizes she's barged into the thirteenth century, her priority is getting back to that cave and hoping she'll find her way back home. But vengeful clans, a medieval sociopath, and the warrior who draws her in like a bee to sweet clover thwarts that priority at every turn. Her head knows better. Her heart refuses to listen.

This is a really cute story. As far as steamy scenes, this is mild but very romantic and sensual one could say. The chemistry is beautifully written. I always love with authors create secondary characters in human form and in animal form. And this author’s last book of the series should be all about Brody & Ramsey finding their one true love. Wouldn’t that be cute? Now with the narrating; I have message Anthony a few different times in the past. I check audiobooks for mistakes before they are uploaded to ACX. Therefore, I know I expect a fantastic performance from all narrators simply because I’ve listened to every narrator in the HR genre. I’m have a list of favorites, a list of who I tolerate for the sake of the author, and a list of narrators I will not listen to ever again. Anthony was on my second list- who I tolerate for the sake of the author, so I mentally prepared myself. Dear Anthony, it is my opinion that you have truly outdone yourself with this performance. I am so pleased. Continue to work on the hero’s sex appeal when he delivers his lines to his heroine and tenderness of the moment too, although you have improved greatly in both areas. I gave you four stars for this book. It is your best. Thank you.

I thought the development of the plot was shallow and the characters were shallow. This story line has been done a hundred ways, but this was the worst one I’ve seen

This book had a good foundation for a story but it lacked something. The time travel is never explained or explored very much. The reactions of the characters seem very unrealistic. The motivations of each of the lead characters is confusing. Slight spoilers beyond this point.........

I found myself rolling my eyes at their relationship. She couldn't stand him one minute and then couldn't live without him the next. No real explanation to how she got there. Also he doesn't believe her or respect her really... but he's madly in love and basically kidnapping her most of the book?! Come on! And why does she want to be with him?! I don't get it! The author doesn't tell us.

As far as the story it is kinda boring.
It's so weird how he shows no interest in the time period she is from and has no problem with how she handled her family. The side characters stories seemed more interesting maybe the book should have been about them! Loved the pets and the friends she met.

Anthony Ferguson is good at accents but not at female voices! 😬 Just hire a woman to read those parts please.

I like the story but it was a little dull. I was looking for a little more romance and a little more story to it, not a history lesson.

Brody is the best. I like backwards time travel stories. This one is an easy listen. This story had a fast start and I liked that. I always wonder why the women choose to remain in the past. The men of that age were worse than these we have now in the treatment of women.
