Francesca and Fane are engaged and the most popular duet around. When Francesca looses her voice she is soon dumped by Fane. Fane is both shallow and self absorbed. While recovering in the hospital after her unsuccessful vocal surgery Francesca becomes friends with an older woman and her son. Enter Julian a real woman hater who is loosing his mother to cancer. Soon Julian learns to trust Francesca and admires her courage and even falls in love with her. They enter into a platonic marriage. This is better than it sounds. and is written by master romance writer Denise Robins. I like this story and the books by Robins who keep us listing for good old fashion romance. 3 STARS. very good reader.
