Eleanor's sincere faith in God and her patience with and love for Vic. are most admirable. Also the steps her Bishop's wife suggested Vic needed to take steps to achieve sobriety. These are important steps to help alcoholics(or anyone struggling with an addiction) implement. As a Biblical counselor in progress, I'd like to have the name of the Christian based clinics the nurse referred Vic to visit, that is if they weren't fictional.

I really enjoyed this book. Wanda Brunstetter writes such good books. I do recommend this book.

Great Meaningful Story

Need new readers, destroyed the story. Had a hard time finishing because of the reader

The worst reading and voice ever. Almost returned the book and never finished. Child like whiny voice very off putting

Depression

A very, very different story line for Wanda E Brunstetter books. Rebecca Gallagher narrated this book and I will never listen to another book narrated by her again. I have listened to a lot of Wanda E Brunstetter books and this one is by far the worst. It is repetitive and slow going. There were many parts that were just hard to believe.

At times the book was just plain boring and I almost stop listening to it half way through. This is NOT one of Wanda's better books.

The very last few sentences said by to by Vic's wife to Vic sounded as though she was making a speech before the United States Congress. The narrator seemed to feel she needed to make a speech in an unnatural tone of voice.

I do not recommend this book.
